该品种早熟,直立散叶,形似孔雀开屏,叶缘基本无据齿,叶面平滑,叶片呈长勺形,脆嫩少纤维,生长快速,易于收获,容易捆扎,食味清甜,可凉拌生食,也可以涮锅或熟食;后期延迟采收。心叶略呈抱含状。网络上流行的“比普通生菜长得快,比小白菜更好吃”,形容的就是孔雀生菜。
